Innovate? Yes, But How?

With the proliferation of markets for technology, companies no longer need to develop technology in-house but can also acquire it externally. Achieving an appropriate combination of internal and external R&D is nevertheless complex. Indeed, scientific studies do not provide conclusive results allowing the impact of each of these strategies on company performance to be measured. This article describes the main advantages and disadvantages associated with each approach according to international theory and evidence.Downloads
