Abstract

In a year of major challenges and profound change such as 2020, it is important to take time to reflect on the present and future of management education. While a critical outlook is crucial for this, it is equally essential to value the contributions made to the field of management over time. Research shows us that people, collaboration, and purpose are the core elements of organization. However, owing to a limited view of management prevailing in many business schools, these have often been relegated behind the economic objectives of firms.
